pinball psyche

This is what my brain looks like on rest and relaxation---->
Synapses firing simultaneously; everything is being rewired all at once. It's like I'm suddenly left-handed (please take no offense lefties--it's about the idea of rewiring).
Had dinner with my friend Jessica on Friday night, and it was great to see her. But it was so hard to follow the topics--I was bouncing from one thing to the next--every idea is like a pinball machine flipper and I am just a ball bouncing around inside my own brain, trying to land somewhere.
This morning I set out to deal with this issue and I have to admit it was funny. "Just 20 minutes of meditation," I told myself. Started in a half lotus with a candle that had clear aspirations of becoming a tiki torch. Blew it out and then sat in the dark. Shoulders began to hurt, so I tried child's pose and then corpse pose. Suddenly I found myself thinking about buying a laptop this afternoon. Next thing you know; I'm at the computer.
But...at least I'm back! =D

I can follow your pinball ball as it dances around your head just fine. Don't forget, I'm married to Mr. A.D.D., so watching you talk me into circles is quite comforting.

Good times!

Good to know that you know what the rest of us already knew. :D
It provides me with good mental exercise for my otherwise lazy brain.
